My personal best to-date is a 10lb 2oz barbel from the Muskham stretch of the river Trent, and for my efforts(or that of the whiskers) the picture is in this months Total Coarse Fishing mag.

My PB Barbel is only about 10 lbs from the swale at topcliffe useing meaty marine boilies

My personal best is 10Ib from the River Wear Chester Le Street Also my first double from the veneu.. :lol:

Thanx there had only had fish to 7Ib before so was a shockto land this one .Had a 9Ib 12oz the day after was well happy will let you know if i land more double barbel.. Very Happy

My River Goyt PB at 8.5lb caught on Dynamite baits monster crab boilie fished over a bed of 3mm halibut pellets Supplied by The Bait Kitchen.

10 mins later I fell in!!

Heres my PB Barbel it was just a tad over the 7lb mark caught on 16mm hailbut fished with a large feeder full of pellets and groundbait and a foot long hooklink of Kryston silkworm only just started barbel fishing 2 months back :)

My bad - River ribble at earlston river was in its normal summer level and we only managed bites as the sun was setting!
